4 hospitalized following crash between car and horse-drawn buggy in Bradford

This story has been updated.
Four people were taken to the hospital following a Friday morning crash between a car and a horse-drawn buggy on Main Road in Bradford.
At just after 7:30 a.m., a driver in a 2017 Ford SUV heading south on Main Road tried to pass the horse and buggy while another vehicle was approaching from the other direction, Maine State Police said.
The driver of the SUV, 28-year-old Kendra Page of Bradford, tried to squeeze between the oncoming vehicle and the buggy but rear-ended the buggy ejecting the three occupants and critically wounding the horse.
Page and the occupants of the buggy, who have not been named, were brought to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The horse was badly injured and had to be killed, officials said.
